Quest Marketplace — For Players
Quests are missions you complete to earn rewards. Some take seconds (join a channel); others are multi-step journeys (verify your wallet, then complete a swap). This guide explains how they work and what you get.
What is a quest?
A quest is a short, guided mission with one or more steps. Each step asks you to do something real — join a community, make an on-chain transaction, pass a quiz — and then proves you did it before granting a reward. You never see “ads” or “offers”; quests are presented as RPG-style missions.
Quest tiers
The tier sets the prestige (and usually the reward weight) of a quest:

Each quest also carries a difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert) and a rarity glow (Common → Rare → Epic → Legendary → Mythic) that previews how valuable its rewards are.
Quest categories
Every quest belongs to one category, so you can filter the marketplace to what you enjoy:

Finding quests
Browse the marketplace in the Mini App or the full app. You can sort by:
- Featured — hand-picked and promoted quests
- Trending — the most active quests right now
- New — freshly launched
- Ending soon — about to close
- High reward — biggest payouts first
…and filter by category, difficulty, tier, reward type, sponsor, or chain. Save any quest to your favorites to come back to it.
Completing a quest
- Enroll. Open a quest and start it. If it touches the chain, you’ll connect/confirm the wallet in scope.
- Work through the steps in order. Each step shows clear, player-facing instructions — for example, “Tap the link, join the channel, then verify,” or “Complete a qualifying swap, then paste the tx hash.”
- Submit evidence. For each step you submit proof (a signature, a transaction hash, your quiz answers). Some steps verify automatically; others only need a tap to re-check.
- Earn as you go. Some quests grant a reward the moment a step is verified (e.g. a small XP bonus for verifying your wallet); the main rewards land on full completion.
How steps are verified
Behind every step is a verification method that proves the action really happened — you never just “mark it done.” Methods include:

Some proofs are instant; others (like a partner-confirmed action or a manual review) resolve a little later, after which your step completes automatically. A few steps cap the number of attempts, so read the instructions before submitting.
Fair play: every attempt is risk-scored, and completions are recorded in an append-only log. Rewards are released exactly once — retrying a completed step never double-pays.
Rewards
A quest can grant any mix of these:

The card’s reward preview shows what’s on offer; the highest rarity in the set sets the card’s glow and the celebration in the Live Degen Feed when you complete it.
To receive QUEST and partner rewards, connect a Base wallet (see Connect Your Wallet). XP, $DEGEN, and in-game items don’t require a wallet.
Boost the quests you love (curation)
Found a great quest? Boost it to raise its rank in the discovery feed. You stake $DEGEN on the quest; the combined stake from the community lifts its position. Your stake isn’t spent — you can release it any time for a full refund, which removes your boost. You can hold one active boost per quest, and only active quests can be boosted.
Boosting is a community curation signal: it surfaces quests players vouch for, and the staking cost keeps low-quality spam from gaming the feed.
