Reaction Rounds
Reaction Rounds is a pure speed challenge. The bot fires a GO signal after a random delay — be the first to tap. Deceptively simple. Intensely competitive.
Players: 2–20 | Duration: 1–5 minutes | XP: 50–500
How to Start
/reaction
/reaction [rounds]Examples:
/reaction— 5 rounds (default)/reaction 10— 10 rounds/reaction 3— 3 rounds (quick session)
Maximum rounds per game: 20. After the command, a 15-second lobby opens for players to join by tapping Join.
Game Format
Round Sequence
- Countdown: The bot posts:
"Ready... Set..." - Random Delay: The bot waits a random interval between 1 and 5 seconds before firing the GO signal. The delay is different every round and is not predictable.
- GO Signal: The bot posts:
"⚡ GO! ⚡" - Tapping: Players reply as fast as possible. The first reply to arrive at the server after the GO signal wins the round.
- Round Result: The bot posts the winner’s name, their reaction time in milliseconds, and updated round scores.
- Repeat for all configured rounds.
Winning
- Best of N rounds — the player who wins the most rounds wins the game.
- Tiebreaker: lowest average reaction time across winning rounds.
False Start Penalty
If a player replies before the GO signal (false start):
- Their reply is marked “FALSE START 🚫” in the chat.
- They are skipped for the next round (cannot win round points that round).
- Their reaction time for that round is not recorded.
- Repeated false starts (3+ in a single game) result in disqualification from that game.
The random delay makes it genuinely difficult to anticipate the GO signal — the longer you wait between games, the more likely you are to false start.
Reaction Time Categories
Reaction time is measured from the server timestamp of the GO signal message to the server timestamp of the first valid reply. Network transmission time is factored out.
| Category | Time Range | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Inhuman | Under 200ms | Flagged for review (likely notification lag artifact or script) |
| Lightning | 200–350ms | Top 5% of players |
| Sharp | 350–500ms | Top 20% of players |
| Average | 500–750ms | Typical human reaction time |
| Casual | 750ms+ | Getting there |
Your reaction time category badge is displayed on your profile.
Leaderboards
Global Reaction Leaderboard
- Ranks players by average reaction time across all completed games.
- Minimum 20 valid rounds required to appear on the global leaderboard (prevents outlier single-round performances).
- Only rounds without false starts count toward the average.
Personal Best
- Your fastest single valid reaction time is stored as your Personal Best.
- Displayed on your profile.
- Breaking your personal best earns a +100 bonus XP regardless of game outcome.
Weekly Reaction Champion
- Each week (resets Monday 00:00 UTC), the player with the lowest average reaction time across that week’s valid rounds earns the Weekly Reaction Champion badge.
- The badge is displayed on their profile for the full following week.
- Earns 1,000 XP.
Anti-Cheat System
Reaction Rounds is the most cheat-prone game — timing is everything. The following measures are active:
| Measure | Details |
|---|---|
| Minimum valid response | Any response under 150ms is automatically disqualified as a bot/script interaction. The 150ms floor accounts for the physiological minimum human reaction time. |
| Server-side timing | All timing is measured server-side from message send timestamp. Client-side display lag does not affect competitive fairness. |
| Suspicious pattern detection | Consistently identical reaction times (±5ms variance across multiple rounds) are flagged — human reactions have natural variance. |
| 24-hour leaderboard cool-down | Accounts with flagged suspicious times are removed from leaderboard ranking for 24 hours pending review. XP is not affected. |
| Rate limiting | Accounts cannot enter more than 10 Reaction Round games per hour — prevents stat farming. |

Tips for Faster Reactions
- Reduce visual delay: Use Telegram on desktop or via a fast mobile connection. Desktop Telegram typically has lower notification delay than mobile push notifications.
- Stay in the chat: Keep the Telegram chat visible and focused. Lock screen or app-switch delays add significant time.
- Don’t anticipate: Trying to guess the GO signal timing leads to false starts. Wait actively rather than preemptively.
- Use the thumb: Tapping with your dominant thumb on a phone is typically faster than tapping with an index finger.
